About Us

Gateway Ukraine was formed by professionals in the City of London, Ukraine and internationally, with the objective of promoting investment in Ukraine, providing advice to Ukrainian companies and international companies looking to invest in Ukraine, and encouraging connections and dialogue. The group is currently in the process of registering as a UK charity. The Corporate Twinning programme is the group’s first project.

Gateway Ukraine’s corporate twinning programme seeks to match firms in Ukraine with international firms operating in the same or a related industry

International firms will provide strategic advice and practical assistance to help Ukrainian firms address current challenges and access new markets

Twinning provides a means for international firms to support Ukraine with no requirement for significant financial investment

Once a Ukrainian company and an international company are matched, it is anticipated that they will sign a framework agreement setting out the basis of cooperation and setting out terms to ensure that the interests of both parties are protected

Twinning allows international firms that are not currently ready to make a significant financial investment in Ukraine to still help Ukrainian businesses - and to position themselves for potential future investment

Firms that would like to participate in the scheme are invited to submit an expression of interest via the contact form, which should include a short description of their company and an explanation in as much detail as possible of the form of assistance / cooperation sought or offered and what the firm would like to get from the programme.

If the firm has any preferences on the profile of the kind of partner that they would like to be twinning with, this can also be included. The Gateway Ukraine team will then follow up to identify whether a suitable partner can be found.
